QUICKTIME CONNECTION SPEED  
If you notice that your Quicktime movie is playing stills or much slower than what your internet connection speed should allow it to, then you will need to check what your connection speed in Quicktime is set at.   To do this you will need to open the Quicktime Program 

then click on Edit > Preferences > Quicktime Preferences 

Once the preferences are open click on the connection speed choice in the drop down menu. 

Then click your choice of speeds from the connection speed drop down menu 

and choose the one closest to your current connection speed, when in doubt choose Intranet/LAN.
