The Missouri Institute of Mental Health
(MIMH) is an educational research branch of the University of
Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, located in St. Louis on the grounds of the
St. Louis Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center at 5400 Arsenal.
The Institute'sContinuing Education Division (CE)), established in 1980, has a mission to develop and deliver high
quality training programs and materials for mental health professionals
throughout the state, region, and nation, with a special emphasis on the needs
of public sector mental health professionals in Missouri.
Continuing Education-Television (CE-TV) is a subscription-based
service developed by the CE Division of MIMH to deliver a Video Stream, Videos
on Demand, and Interactive Videoconferencing 24-hours per day to subscriber
sites, thereby providing a cost effective means of delivering mental health
continuing education to their employees.
An
On-Line version of CE-TV was developed to provide some of the same accredited
video programs on mental health and related topics, that are presented on CE-TV,
on an open Internet site, were interested mental health professionals can access
them from home or other locations when out of the office.
